Title: Difference between '80 and '81 kx250?

Anything visual that may give me a clue...where they any good or bucket of shite?

They weren't too bad, the full floater Suzuki and water cooled Honda were probably a little better. I had a '81 125 and the only difference from the '80 was the pipe and green writing on the seat instead of white. I'm guessing the 250 got similar changes.

81 KX 250/420 had an I beam looking swingarm instead of the box style on the 1980.  The 81 KX 125 for some reason didn't getting the update arm
