1979 KX250's are coming out of the woodwork here. (Three for sale in the last 5 days. All within 50 miles of me.)
I thought they were kind of low production. How many KX250 A5's did Kawasaki make? ???

Wish they grew on trees here, i'd go outside and pick one.

Well,
I couldn't resist and bought one of them. ;D
One seller had two and he only wanted to sell them as a set. ($1200 US) The third one came with a California Ownership Title, runs and shifts through all gears. The swingarm and pipe are in great shape, so I bought it. ($500 US)
I always say this, but that should end my buying for a long time. ::)

I had one and sold it about 5 years ago, there were a few around then. Doesn't seem to be any around these days. It was a good bike and i wish i would've kept it... but isn't that always the case when you sell something! I didn't think the A5 was all that rare in the US... Unlike the A4.

I've only seen a few (Two) at any AHRMA Nationals or western regionals. I know the A4 is the rare one, but I thought someone told me once there were less than 5K A5's sold worldwide. ???? Maybe all 5K went to California. ;)

Over here I know of 5-A5 250's and a couple of A5 125's but only 1 A4. All the guys who own the A5's pedal them really quickly.
