ive got the adventure bug and i need to make up a xr650l as there like rocking horse shite to find here so i need forks/disc brake swinger/single carb airbox and engine/engine parts so what has everyone got surplus for sale

Sold a new shock the other day for a XR650 . The old unit is for sale cheap.

I have an NX650 Dominator engine if you are interested. 0393504417 bus hrs.

I have seen a few of these conversions into XR frames.

The XR has Great chassis and the Domy motor has great cruising ability.

The Domy motor has a big stator so plenty of charge for battery and big lights.

That would be my direction.

I have ‘88 NX650 Dominator forks , front wheel , rear shock linkages , swingarm and a seized motor . I am located in NQ though , so freight cost might be an issue . The ‘88 NX 650 motor is probably a good choice for an adventure bike motor , as it has both electric start and a kickstarter .
