Hi Everyone,
Up for swaps is my SUZUKI surplus parts, my expertise is limited to reading labels so any help identifying parts is greatly appreciated. The brake plate has a pointed S inside and needle rollers in the centre so I am not sure what it is off? The tank is missing the key and looks rust free inside and I am unsure what it is off? It feels light for it's size and does NOT have a loose rusty sound when rotated. The Clutch cover is I think for a TS or RL 250?
The front mudguard is lacking any Trade Mark but looks similar to a Mates TM 75 from way back in the 1970s that I once rode?

My interests in Trials is fairly diverse as I have Italian, Japanese and Spanish bikes from 1970 to 1986 Post Classic era. Your parts might help me get one of my bikes going and I like to ride them all!
Thanks for looking

yes case is for TS/RL 250 anything with a 2502 - engine number. 71-75 inclusive. Tank likely for TS90 73 was start of clam cap. tank was almost the same shape as the 250 just smaller. the 125 and 185 were more slender as was the TS100.wich replaced the 90 half way thru 73. Fender has a short rear so for a downpipe like the TS90. Hubs is any ones guess

brake plate dr400/500 or rm

Hi Everyone,
brake plate dr400/500 or rm
Matt, there is a needle roller in the axle hole, is that what DR/RM 400 and 500 have? Not sure but the only thing I can think off it the axle must turn? The other thing that might be a clue is the spherical bearing inside the brake torque arm hole so maybe it allows for angular change?
Thanks for the suggestions

yeah my dr400t has bearings in the axle hole and there abit worn though not enough to be concerned about

Pokey, I had a closer look at the silver tank and I am thinking it is too big to be off a TS 90 and from memory much bigger than the TS 100 Honcho tank that I dropped off at your place a couple of years ago?
Here are some more parts that I am unsure about:

Could be the angle and it is a 250 tank. Clam cap with badges 73 Clam cap no badge 74/75 76 was a different shape.
That head Im not certain but the 250 stock bore is 70 and single plug says RM so thats a best guess. The RL (single plug) and all the TS have the back RH corner cut away.
-
Head is no later than 78 RM 125. 79-80 RM 125 had no step.
-
I thought it may have been an A model TS185 but after dragging one out and measuring @ 64mm so yours is larger so has to be bigger than 185. A 125 would be 54mm and later 56mm. Looks very much like a 76 RM250 so its close to that

My guess is RM125B. They didn't have a squish band so best to measure to edge of combustion chamber to get an idea of the bore size.

Here is another photo showing overall size of the head, not super clear but 55 mm is what I make it to be. Not having a matching cylinder makes it a little more challenging to identify but all of the fins are complete and not cut away.

Hi Everyone,
Just tidying up today revealed another head that does not fit any of my bikes:

Anyone know what it is off? Yeah I know I should have measured it....
Thanks for looking

What does the bore measure?

With that savage cutaway for the exhaust it's got to be an RL250 head. They would be 70mm bore from memory.

Size will tell you what CC the engine is
if its 70mm bore its a 250
15 fins for the reed TS250 models B, C and ER series
Earlier models different shape
TM RM and PE250 are also different shape
14 fins for RL

64mm bore has got to be TS185. Looks very much like this one on Ebay. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/293726028224?chn=ps&_ul=AU&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=705-139619-5960-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=293726028224&targetid=1741701787418&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9069105&poi=&campaignid=18278742238&mkgroupid=141565058112&rlsatarget=pla-1741701787418&abcId=9301725&merchantid=116519036&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIl56upebG_QIVvZlmAh0lPwhzEAQYAyABEgJN8vD_BwE
