A bit of a long shot but....does anyone know where I can get an XR350 motor that hasn't blown up yet??   or at least one that can be salvaged...

What are you after? I have the bottom end , crankcases and gearbox, cylinder with piston oversize, bore ok but 1 ring broken. In a million bits. But no head, cam etc. cheers Brewer.

I was thinking that if I could find an XR350 that didn't have the rod out the front of the cases already, I would replace the rod with a Carrillo or something similar and put it into a '78 CR250 frame that I have with an MR250  tank and make another Vinduro bike....at one stage I had a dozen XR350 motors, all with the rod through the front engine mount...
