doing a Doc style resto on my ts185k and what brand of rattle can black matches up to what suzuki used in 1973?as the tin i got from repco is just tooo black

I use Septone Acrylic Satin black and a super light mist of clear, it has a bit more grey than the Export brand Gloss Enamel.

Other suzuki owners may know a the correct black for the TS frame. Can recall that some suzuki oem frames were painted in a semi gloss paint. With bright light looked a little grey. I think a close match was made by VHT.
Friend used Killrust epoxy Enamel on his TM and RM frames with good results.
Have used Rust-Oleum Black Epoxy on my Maico Square Barrel Frame and Koni with shocks with good results.
But this a true Gloss black.
Dulux and White knight are good spray can paints but are a bit thin and the paint can easy run.

Hey matt in recent years ive been using on frames dupli-color (engine enamel with ceramic) -DE1635 Ford semi gloss black ,from repco etc good match for vintage stuff not too glossy ,fuel & oil resistant, bigger 340g cans -cheers

This would be good for my Ford Brake disc splash guards.
And its on special at Repco. $12.80. $3.20 off.
-
Yeah its not bad stuff nebo ,we use it on bikes ,4x4 bars/racks etc not glossy which is good too ????

Once you decide on the coulor try the paint place, they can supply 2 pack paint in a rattle can. About $50
