Title: xl500r motor rebuild

Could any one recommend some one Vic based better if close to Geelong but willing to travel got an 82 XL 500 motor I’d like to get rebuilt and before you say do it yourself I thought about it but I’m trying to get the bike done quickly, thanks Michael.

easy motor to do but if they uave to split the cases make sure they put a new contershaft seal in it.an xr500 grind cam would give it a nice power lift also

Yeah I’ll probably go a high comp piston as well I’m only going to be road riding it.
