Title: RM125M std rings

does anyone have a set of std rings in their stash they're willing to part with?,i have a nos 56.50 piston,which is of no use to me  :P

ive got a ts125 std piston/rings if there any good to you.you might have to ajust the piston skirt other then that it should go in.pm for more details

thanks Matt,but it's the RM rings i need,have yamaha TD1C barrells resleeved to iron,can no longer use "soft" iron rings,all those YZ125 rings i'm selling are too thin,the RM are at least .045" .047" thick 56mm bore size,cheers mick

You can use Iron rings in an Iron bore. May not last as long as the chrome faced ring but are quite good. It is the chrome rings that can't be used in an old style chrome bore and hence they used iron rings.

thanks Sleepy,yeah talked to yamaha guy yesterday,told me same thing,plan B i will go with TD2 rings i have with new TZ500 pistons,plan A is if RM rings turn up,will use them in TD1C pistons with worn ring lands,.002" will take up the slack lol  :P
