Title: Piston pin circlips

I am looking for some piston pin circlips. Square section and approx. 17/18mm OD.
They are for a Villiers Starmaker/AJS Stormer motor.
Any suggestions around Melbourne?

HI .  Try Modak in Melbourne CBD or Central Motorcycles Huntingdale. Should not be hard to find all parts for this engine as they used in many British bikes including AJS etc,etc.
If you go on the British Web sites you can almost get anything OEM ,Old Stock and Reproduction.

A lot of those early motors used normal internal circlips with holes for clip pliers, you should be able to get them from your local bearing/engineering suppliers. Just had a look at a set of Harley piston sitting here waiting for me to bore the barrels and the clips measure about 2.5mm bigger than the pin.
