Title: 1975 Suzuki RM125 S
Post by: KTMaico on September 01, 2020, 07:00:01 pm
Hey Guys, I have just acquired a little 1975 Suzuki RM125 S that is in need or a complete rebuild and restoration. If any of you have any parts or documentation on the S model I would really like to here from you. I need a lot that I can get I'm sure from the internet, but in particular I need a air box and a decent pipe with muffler if there is someone out there that wants to part with them I would be very interested.

Regards to all, stay safe and Look forward to normality.

Yes I do, Everything but the motor has been restored. I had to stop because of a few major life dramas. But I will have it all completed by next year.
Thanks for asking, I will post both bikes photo's when finished. The Maico will be freshened up and new Modified head will be added.

You will find building the RH 250 motor a challenge, as its an experience all on its own.

Bazza,
Please give me the contact details of the guy that can build me the RH expansion chamber, Maybe he can make a new RM125 S chamber as well.
I would really appreciate a copy of the RM125S manul and any other documentation to help with the rebuild.

I build a RM125 S 'repair kit'
Its the cone sections with mounts & gussets built to original specs.
It requires the original header section which is made from pressed halves.
If you have a header that's not rusted or molested it should be able to be repaired
Same deal with the small silencer as they can be repaired also
