Ally rims for Pre 65?
Yes, but only mud catchers: yes any style?
No?
-
pretty sure 1st alloy rims were Rudge, seen a very early Palmer brand jointless alloy rim ,(huge big weld across the join :o),they were lipless,Boranni bought manu rights from Rudge (hence the Rudge "hand" symbol as a nod to inventer),your'e pretty safe with mudcatchhers pre 65,Dunlop was doing them in the late 50's,would be splitting hairs using akronts, same style??, :P
ps disclaimer, didn't use google, went off memory instead ::)

Good bit of history there.
I have a Borrani rim that I saved from the scrappy with a big bead of weld. I think it is A 40 holer so might end up on an old Beezer I'm plotting.

Some 40 hole Borranis are worth a small fortune especially if they fit an early Ducati SS or Sport. I'm after one to suit the rear of a Guzzi 850T3 but would need to find out what the 4 digit code number is, just in case you might be interested in selling it.

Not selling monte34.
