Terrible news.

As mentioned on Vital MX (2 “threads”): In some ways better to die driving a Dune buggy, than to rot/gurgle your last on a lounge, or in a “rest home” 63yo (too young!) looking and acting a lot younger. Really “living life”.

Also, for a “couple” to “go” together saves some grieving/loss.

There is a picture doing the rounds. Apparently taken soon before the crash. The couple sitting on the right side (Left side of pic) of the 4 seater “buggy” were apparently uninjured, and nursed the Smiths as they passed - Horrific on one level.

Marty Smith was a childhood hero to me, and I’m sure many of you guys.
RIP
