So i have been talking about footpeg options for the 1980 YZ125G with forum members. These older style 8mm pin pegs fit a variety of the early model YZ's and IT's. A lot of folk upgrade to the aftermarket PW50 wide footpegs (usually Chinese).
I emailed Pivot Pegz and they have a custom section. They said they have the template for these models and can custom build a set. No extra cost. Free post in Australia and a free rebuild kit.
These pegs are not for everyone, but if you talk to folk that have used them, some rave about how good they are. Easier to shift gears, more foot platform when leaning back etc..
Not real cheap, but super Australian made quality. Ordered some this morning and look forward to fitting them up.

Waste of money. Putting wide/longer pegs on 40 year old mounts is asking for trouble.
For around $50 you can easily find late model YZ Titanium pegs and mounts at most wreckers. Simply unbolt and weld later mounts to your bike. Good to go
