Does anyone know if the optional "GP" cylinder for the '75 250 Elsinore improved performance much ?

The only one i know of was for the '74 250. Did they make one for the m1 and m2?

I have an M1 GP cylinder which is a bit buggered up with some broken fins and scored bore.

Just wondering if performance gains ( if any) are worth the effort saving it

I remember the optional cylinder but haven't heard of a reed valve available from Honda other than the Gem aftermarket one.

That sounds a lot like the Gem that i had on my 74 cr250. It didn't have any markings on it either.
