l've bent the shock recharging needle on my Racetech adapter, does anyone know if a syringe needle from the local pharmacy will fit? TIA

Yes it should. Another option is to visit a vet clinic.
Take the old one along for comparison as it is a fairly narrow needle.

Yep got some from the chemist this morning, 35c each, better than $15 off ebay ! They are sized in diameter by 'gauge', the following rough comparison (found two charts that conflicted slightly so I went down the middle) to millimeters.
The size of the needle that comes in the Racetech tool is 22 gauge (.65) but my chemist only had 25 gauge (.46), It might bend easier but I am happy as the .65 let too much gas out on removal, the smaller needle might not let out as much?
30 gauge = .255
25 gauge = .455
22 gauge = .644
20 gauge = .812
18 gauge = 1.024
7 gauge = 3.664

They were very hesitant to assist me, gave me an odd face when l said that l want to pump my suspension up :-)

the local vet looked at me funny when I asked could I buy an horse syringe and wanted to know why I wanted one that big,only after a few mins of explaining I wanted it for flushing/filling from the caliper to master cyl on modern disc braked dirt bikes he agreed to sell me 1
