are the early xt's still in demand? a mate has two projects and he is wondering what to do with them.. i have no details just said i would see if they were worth marketing vs restoring

The old XT500 will always be worth something as they have a cult following. What they are worth is disputable...!?
I may be interested in purchasing if he wants to sell?

Plenty of demand for them down at the docks & Station Pier. Required for the end of a chain (where they belong).

"Docks & Station Pier" - Is that a trendy inner city bar serving vegan food? "End of a chain" - Do you mean a wallet chain?

XT500s are trés desirable for hipsters! 80-85 Husky, tell your mate to start butchering those XTs, they'll soon be worth thousands as "café racers"!  8)

There may be a trendy vegan bars by those names, who knows. The other end of the chain I refer to is attached to a boat.

Your right they are worthless, Ill save the trash from being turned into another "vomit" cafe racer. I seem to like trying to throw around boat anchors in the bush  :-[
