Got pics of the 185 pipe? VERY interested.
-
Sounds like they are early 70's models so not what i am after.
-
Did anyone score these pipes as I am really interested in anything you may have surplus. AFAIK hop up pipes didn't smile on oz and I have most of the 185 gear apart from the pipe. PM me if you have one.

no reply so far so we can all live in hope to get a pipe,id even settle for the measurement and make my own but its hard getting that even, ive found running a rm125m pipe not too bad for circle work and plenty of top end power with a 1.5mm lift on the exhaust port on my 185A

years ago (many years) i had a good ts 125j which i rode as my first road reg bike and a mate had an rm 125s which he had discarded in favour of a series of fast women. i bought it off him for 100 bucks and slipped the ts motor into the rm frame, bodged some lights up and had a pretty neat registered trail bike. i had the motor warmed a bit (what can you do to a ts 125...) and with the rm pipe it was hopeless and gave a little top end squirt ( loud ) and with the stock pipe it had a heap of mid range but died on top. all carb size related (and i knew fa about jetting) but i could ride it fast through the rough stuff c/w xls and dt etc all my mates were riding. that should have been a keeper. :-[

a mate did the same thing and put an ts185A motor in an rm he brought with a blown motor, its a shame Suzuki didn't do it and brought the pe series out in 75 instead of 77 for the 250 and 78 for the 175.i might do it to my 185A as where im riding now you need a long travel bike as the stock ts suspension aint up to it!

the 185 would have a been a much nicer bike, just that bit more poke. i split teh cases and put corks in the balance holes and opened up the ports a bit (basic blueprint really ) and it went ok...the rm motor in the ts frame was another story!!! the rm brake cable was knackered and i took it out for a test ride and it was insane in the short travel frame...im out the local quarries having a punt a bout and car pulls up with a few of the local lads in it all full of piss and wind..."give us ride ol mate says and i say you sure?? its got no brakes...he is like "just get off" so off he goes 1st .."wwaaaaaahhh, second wwaaaaahhh" then he realise he has run out of track and hits the rear pedal.....then he grabs the biggest hand full of front brake and pulls the whole show up with the side of his face.....so as well as pissed, he is now concussed...i helped the boys load him to the car and took off...one of the best "no idea" prangs ive seen

Ive been making do with an old Bassani and stock pipes on my L & M But I would like to finish my hop up build before I die but these pipes arnt that easy to trip over.
I was thinking you guys scored the pipes already. hmmm.
