Title: xlx250 into xr250 frame

i have an 84 XR250 frame with a shagged motor. Does anyone know if an 83 XLX 250 motor will fit in or is it to hard?

Before you get too far, rip the head off the XLX and look for cracks in the plug hole and around valve seats. Almost all this model develop cracked heads. not good choice of motor.

your xlx donk will bolt into xl350 or 1st version of xr350 with wet sump motor,2nd xr350 with dry sump motor don't know
