Title: XR/XL.

Bought an 82 XR500. (or so I thought). Checked the engine number and it's an XL500.
What are the differences?
Thinking of putting a 90.5mm kit in it. Any recommendations?

xr's had bigger duration camshafts but in the real world not that big of a difference,a suspension upgrade would even out the power difference and your ageing back will like it too
