I have PE ones that are more or less the same, unless your racing for top spots in pre 77 class they be fine.

They are totally different, only common parts are the seals and fork boots really. Might??? be ok at a local club race but the 78-79 PE ones certainly will not be at Nats as they are off later models and the parts are not the same anyway.

For 125b forks you need to find the ones with these numbers cast near the axles holes on the sliders  X3363L and X3363R and they measure 295mm from the axle hole to the top of the slider. In totally stock form they do not need restricting to 9" either. Don't be fooled in to thinking RM250C (alloy tank model) forks are the same or close enough either.

Sounds like the PE forks are off the list if your son is riding the nats.

They are similar. I am not sure what travel they have

i suspect the axle holes are 15mm though

ok, so I tracked a pair down in the US. Guy claims he personally pulled them out of a RM125B but they don't have those numbers stamped (only have NN stamped) waiting for him to confirm the 295mm measurement, any other way to tell ?

Got to do your home work, as the seller said he personally pulled them out of the 125b himself. Ended up being RM400 forks lol
