Heads up.
I, like many, have a “toll pass”. It auto renews on my credit card.
I, like many, am a bit slack on checking what they are charging me for.
Recently, I checked my “trip history”. Interestingly my privately registered Transit van had been charged as a “Car”, a “Light Commercial”, and most disturbingly “Heavy Commercial” ($23.97 for one toll). All in one trip!
Looks like I’ll be in for some refunds (after I prove it is registered privately).
Incompetent at best, deliberate fraud most likely.
Worth checking

Was going through my eastlink statement the other night and I saw tolls for my Husky 701.
Though to myself haven't been on it. mmm then remembered took it down to get some warranty work done on the trailer.
They had tolled my work car and the bike as well on the trailer.
Double dippers lol

Got the same, toll charged to an expired rego bike parked in a shed...just wasn't worth the time theft to dispute so I just paid the $14...

I got a gateway bridge (Brisbane) toll avoidance charge for a QLD registered bike had I sold (and de-registered) 15 years previous. I phoned them and complained and asked them to look at the photo (the photos are usually automatically scanned for rego plates using image recognition software). They said the rego number had been read correctly, but that it was on a 4WD in the photo and they were NSW personalised plates.
Yes they dropped the charge
