Title: klx250 inner rotor kit
Post by: Kane Mcguire on April 01, 2018, 05:11:27 pm
Just bought an inner rotor ignition for the klx, so looking forward to the improved throttle response instead of having a cup of tea waiting for it to get going out of corners! I will report back.

Not sure a new rotor and ignition will cure that. The original ones are quite bomb proof. The only thing I have replaced on mine since 1982 is the coil. Check the pickup air gap. Make sure your cam is set on the "KZ200" marks and look at your carb. The valve seats wear quite quickly too. Check your compression.

Its the lighter flywheel I'm purchasing it for. About 4kg lighter!

I ordered it and now they are saying out of stock. I'm going to contact your site and check freight costs etc. Iv started machining the standard flywheel, but not much material can come off.

They are the same part numbers. The Belgium site told me they manufacture them. Who to believe?
