Title: XR 250 question

I have a customer in NZ that wants twin shocks for a XR 250 1979 . To my knowledge XR 250 came out in 1981 and were of mono shock construction . Was there a earlier twin shock version ?

Twin shock XR250 came out in 1979, based on the same XL250 of that year, but with small headlight and speedo combo and different rear fender and tail light.

Thanks for that . You learn something everyday . Did that go through to 81 ? Just asking , so I can amend the master spec  list .

1979 and 1980 as far as I know, and according to Motor Era website.
