Title: PE250B clutch cable run

Dies anyone know where the clutch cable is supposed to run on a 250B?

So far I can see it goes outside of the pipe but dies it go the left or right of the speedo bracket or through the hole in the middle?

Comes through the hole behind the speedo in front of the bars.

Brent my RM400 came new with the cable routed inside the exhaust but I have seen pics showing outside as well so I dunno ??? helpfull? :D

Thanks guys,

The photos I have show the cable outside the pipe but it's likely to snag on things.

I'll try what you said Doc and run it against the frame, and thanks Leith, I couldn't see from any of the photos where the cable came up around the speedo area

Would you have a photo of where and how the clutch cable is fixed to the frame near the steering head and also the headlight guard?

I have a headlight shell and chrome rim, do you know if an available light unit will fit.

Not sure on that photo. end me an email and i will send what i have.
The headlight insert is same as OR50 and i think its still available. I know you can still buy the actual black shells. In fact i think you will find the TF185/TF125 headlight fits/is same/uses same insert too.

Yep start chasing TF125 headlight. They are the same and still in production
