Post by: bigk on February 13, 2018, 03:39:49 pm
Where can I find an exploded view/parts diagram for the swing arm of a 1973 MC5 250?
Cheers,

They have an odd bearing setup Mick, you need inside tips. You sort-of have to shim them.

All sorted thanks. The bearings were missing & I didn't know what type they were. I now do & can move on with the assembly. Thanks to all who have helped.

The shims go on the engine mount so the frame is the correct gap.

Slakewell, that's the best thing about this board, you learn something every day, on my 77 MC5 I made shims to go in between the frame and the swing arm, and it was an absolute pain to set up and get it right, now that you mention the correct way to do it it's like turning on the light....
