Dave bickers made a similar trike in the 80s to do the weston supermare beach race.  Fast down the mile straight but hard work in the dunes.

It'd be a dangerous, foul handling piece of crap and a waste of a good CR250. What would you do with it other than instilling hurt and grief on yourself and others?

i tried to ride an ATC250 (84 or 85 model i think) and it was the most evil, ill handling forking thing i have ever sat on, never again, hated it and gave it straight back to its owner.

i don't know why he bought the thing, absolutey nowhere to race them back then, maybe ok in the dunes but thats it.

yes, i agree a waste of a good engine.

Agreed  100% and look what I enjoy riding!!!! Sidecars. People ask why Trikes  came and went so quick . Lots of theories but I basically believe it was their dangerous evil handling traits, and have you ever run over your own foot/leg on one??..... yes you are not alone every body has.. Rip the engines out of them and scrap  the shites.

To each their own !  I had an ATC250R and loved it,wish I still had it.    I've always liked trikes and I still have two of them.
If you know how to ride them they're great on sand or a short circuit track.............basically best on full lock sliding !!!!

They are like a left and right sidecar combined . Except you are not relying on a swinger . As long as you keep that throttle on , you are in control . You back off , and they can bite you severely. Looking at statics and phisics , 3 wheelers just dont make sense . That is the dare, to some induviduals , to master that and turn it into a sport. Each to their own.

yeah i have seen guys race these in the Baja 1000 in the 80's and i must say they are nuts!! they absoloutly flew on those ATC's. they must of been good riders. the amercans were crazy on them and yes similar to a sidecar just keep the power on and hold on tight ;D
