Mate once told me - if you don't ask girls you will always go home alone.... and after some crap marriages here goes again.....
Lookin' for an air-cooled Husky 510 engine - any condition or even the main parts considered....
(have the rest of an '83 bike)

get on cafe husky, vintage left kickers section. there is a for sale thread by a bloke called visiteur and he posts every day anything husky and quite often 510 motors and parts pop up. also fagbook has a husky group, well worth joining.

Yep, its unreal having a guy in France alert you to bikes in your own backyard that you weren't even aware of (or even looking for...must resist), you wake up in the morning check his post on Cafe Husky and Wallah! next thing you know you're buying an '89 510 from Queensland ;D
FB has quite a few good Husky pages
4T specific

thanks Roon, I sent an email to the fellow in the US – will see what happens
and it is amazing what's around if you just know how to navigate your way through cyberspace – and I'm pretty useless at that

My '84 510 motor is en route to Mike Shearer in Warragul for a teardown/inspection/rebuild
I, pretty sure I have seen pics of A/C 4T Rotax motors (which look very similar to the Husky motor) fitted into Husky frames......if you were desperate.....
