A friend of mine is doing a rebuild on a 360cc Auto from the 70's. He has asked me if I know anyone that he can get info from regarding this build. The main problem he has is he hasn't got a computer, he told me he sometimes goes to his local library and uses theirs but I think he just bumbles through. I know nothing about these autos, so I am of little help to him. I have let him know about a couple of good Husky ebay sites but I think he just wants to be able to ask a question or 2 when the need arises.
If anyone knows of someone that I could put him in touch with or a good information site, this might help.

Nothing hard about an auto, although they do require a specific oil. They are actually very easy to work on. I have engine manuals if he needs info.

I ask Shoey , for parts I use Dave at tritrophy E Bay store, he has NOS stock of most parts. Once setup if he maintains it correctly should give NP. There are manuals on line.

I'll let him know about the oil and if you can give me a contact number he might get a manual from you, if he hasn't already got one.

I will second the recommendation of Dave at Tritrophy on Ebay for parts, I have got parts from him for my 390 Auto on and off over the passed few years and he has always been reliable and his prices are good.
The only place I have found that can supply the correct oil for the Autos is Imperial Oil

The manual says to use Esso Univis J-58. I have been using Univis J-26 for year, but it is quite an expensive oil. The last time I bought some, back in 2015 I think it cost $500 for a 20L drum delivered to SA.
