As per title , chasing a Dr 400 frame, any leads would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Saw one with the swingarm and stand at Ross , Tiaro wreckers just yesterday .

DR250 frame any good to you? Are they similar?
-
Not too sure if they are similar Yamaico ...as I'm just wanting a bare frame only, to cut the cradle out of it.
-
If you just want the cradle, isn't the SP370 engine cradle the same as the DR400? I welded an RM250C rear subframe to an SP370 cradle just before the DR400 came out. I wish I'd known the DR400 was coming out and saved myself some work

SP have a large radius bend @ foot pegs sort of like a ? in reverse, were as the Dr 400 is square ... same as all RMs and PEs but has a curved front.

DR250 is a full floater. DR400 is a twinshock ;)

I've got some spare DR400 frames butI live in the UK. If you have no luck I may be able to cut up one for what you need. Depends on whether I can get the engine out

Cloggy thanks for the Offer. I may take you up on it. Only need the cradle section, being 90 mm above top front down tube engine mount holes ( just below gusset ) and the rear 160mm above rear pivot bolt.
