Title: DVD of Conondale and Masters of MX
Post by: DJRacing on August 28, 2008, 05:30:19 pm: I hope the guys I sent copies to have got them now and that they play properly. Sorry about the noise of the wind but thats racing.
Anyway I hope you enjoy the footage of the Conondale Classic and the Masters of Motocross.

I've been off work crook for a few days so it was a joy to view your footage and lift at least 50% of my misery.
I love those NZ tracks - the roost rises in lumps and falls to the ground whereas ours turns to mist and clouds the battlefield...

Post by: DJRacing on September 04, 2008, 06:07:38 pm: We are every lucky to have motobike friendly farmers in the Waverley area, and the paddock we held the Masters of MX on was available for a month to ride on. The dirt at Waverley is as good as it gets. I am making another dvd from the very first round of the very first series of the Mr VMX series here in NZ. The video tape isnt good quality though but if anyone wants a copy let me know and when I have it finished I'll send them out.

Deej, any objections to me putting it all online? I know the quality suffers considerably but it's still quite viewable ;)

Romper stomper bomper boom..I see oldfart and I see TMBill on BrentJ's HL running about 5th..err..no wait..wrong rider sorry, about 10th and then..little oops! when did you crash oldfart??..I missed that! :D

Bill looks a little happier on Brent J's bike, I wonder if the song "Roxanna" was running through his head?? Could it be the amount of bikes he was riding??

Post by: YZ250H on September 08, 2008, 08:18:39 pm: Yeah, Oldfart has the very distinctive gear (and bike). I'd be interested to hear the story behind the (alledged) crash. He got a cracker of a start on that big four stroke in the first part. He's still got it the "old" fella ;D

Also spotted Bill on the big HL and wondered if someone had stolen his jersey :o :o.

Great footage on the whole thing. Well done and thanks DJ. You always seem to go the extra distance to share these kind of things with everyone. Just what VMX is about as far as I'm concerned ;) 8).
