Hi All
It appears that the fork boots (49006-1009-BD) for the KLX250 and other models are no longer available from Kawasaki.
I have heard that the fork boots off a 1980 PE175T (51571-38265-38K) are a straight swop with the Kawa items. Has anyone done this before?

David - you can also but generic off ebay - just need width and length?

I fitted a cheapie set of boots. Lasted 1 year then perished.
I have now got on a set of "Ariete" boots, which look good and fit well (cost a lot more too!). Lets see how long they last.
To be honest, the OEM stuff fits best and lasts the longest.

lt is easy to find black fork boots, cheaply, locally, but the correct colour green is another story, there is Daystar from the US or DRC from Japan, both are a little pricey; about $100 a pair.
l bought the DRC items from Japan via the Webike website, they are perfect in colour and material.

The PE ones are NLA and if you do order them they will be supplied in blue colour which is what later DR250 uses.
Daystar and Cemoto make aftermarket ones that will work.

Thanks All, for the input.
The ones I have on will be Ok for now. I will most probably go the Ebay route for some NOS items when I feel flush :D
