Could someone please provide me with the torque setting for swingarm pivot bolt nuts please? Also size and pitch for the nuts?
Thank you in advance

Just do them up tight & use loctite (even with a nyloc nut) as they have a bad habit of coming off. I like to put a washer behind them although they don't have a washer from the factory. They are 12mm x 1mm & reasonably hard to find at ordinary bolt stores. I have a box of nice new, bright zinc, nylocs though.

bigk I just tried to measure them and they seem to be m12 x 1.25mm (according to my digital vernier). I just stripped mine and have a race meeting next weekend and thought I'd be able to pick some up at a bolt store??

rule of thumb with twin shock swingarms is to tighten them just enough for the swing arm to be pushed lightly down ie hold itself in any position (no shox bolted in)

Definitely 12 x 1mm unless someone has altered it. You'll be hard pressed to find them at anything but a specialist bolt shop. I can send you a couple if you like?

just checked the tech data, 60Nm (44 ftlbs)

The OD will be 12mm , I cant measure thread pitch with vernier's only thread gauge. They are factory 12 x 1. It would be a hard thread pitch to find in a chaser nut. Thou with a thread file you could carefully tidy it up. What ever tension you do it up at make sure it moves freely afterwards.

Thanks bigk I have some on order from Prime8racing and have been reassured that I'll get them before this weekend for a race meeting.

You can also use crown nut of 79-80 Rm 125 which is the same size and drill swing arm bolt for split pin. This way you can nip up anytime and split pin guaranties that you will not lose your nut.
