for small holes,& even tears use to superglue them,(early roady honda cv carbs)i guess a silastic adhesive might do too,(not much fuel gets up there ,or shouldn't ) theres a mob in england who do replacement diaphragms (sent VF500/4 diaphragms slides over),hth, :P

If you put a pic up of the carb & any numbers, I might have something here that will get you out of trouble. Jimson

Have had luck using blue rtv silicon as a temporary repair, lasted 6 months and still fine when new one installed. Was only a small 3mm tear though. Could still get a new one for my 350 2 year's ago

Hey Jimson,

Much appreciated, but the diaphragm comes with the slide as a whole unit, it's not a single replaceable piece.

Cheers

Yeah I meant if I had the carb you could use the whole thing, not just the diaphragm ? I have carbs from a job lot I bought some years back & most of them don't have what there off on them, if that makes sence ? I'll be putting some up for sale here shortly when I have some pics. Jimson
