Title: 2 stroke Exhaust protection??

G'day all,
 Which way is the best to protect the 2 stroke header pipe from being damaged from flying rocks and particles on the ground?? Pipe guard, heat wrap etc...

framed pipe guards are great for stopping pipe flattening hits by stumps, large rocks etc but normal dings and scrapes get thru. the alligator pipe covers are good to hold off those smaller rock and roost marks. if your trying to keep a newly painted and repaired pipe looking NOS...don't ride it
