Title: NOS Protec Yamaha YZ, IT, TT fork caps

I am not 100% of all models they fit but i think they are for 38mm forks. The OD of the thread is about 31.85mm. I do know they do not fit the 1976 36mm YZ/IT forks or the 36mm XT/TT500 forks which have 29.85 OD threads. I think TT250 application on label is incorrect.

they wont work if you bars are direct over the caps unless you fit a 90 deg elbow maybe

This list below i think is the application. If i am totally wrong please let me know

Please measure the OD of your threads on your caps to be 100% sure though

These caps do not fit any 36 or 38mm Suzuki forks.

Been told they wont fit 250D or 400D so now i am not sure if they are for 36mm or 38mm forks.

I now think  they might be for 36mm forks and this might be correct fitment now but i am no Yamaha expert so if anyone can confirm that would be great. I think these 36mm forks may have thinner walls like the Kawasaki 36mm forks and take 29mm OD springs which will not fit inside TT/XT or 76 YZ/IT forks which are thicker walled and take smaller 26-27mm OD springs like the Suzukis.

I also have some used DG caps for 37mm OD Honda showa forks 78-80

Postage will be $7-$8 or what ever ever the flat rate 500g satchel is.  Parts will be bubble wrapped and protected as well. It will be more if i use my own packing as i found out the other week when it cost $9 to send two little speedo drive gears out of a brake plate.
