Does anyone know the correct JT part number for rear sprocket for
76-78 RM250, 370, 400
77-79 PE250
all the catalogues and websites are saying JTR822 which is not correct at all. That is the smaller 125/175 sprocket.

Try searching JTR1786.54 . From ebay store motorcyclewreckerwa. Not sure if you would trust them on this.

That is the 80-81 PE250 sprocket. Not counter sunk holes though.

Geez. Then it is wise to search part numbers for aftermarket manufactuers also to ensure correct fitting and seller claims. Like i would have been snookered because of that difference.

I have spoken direct with JT and informed them of the 822 error. They said their info said that suzuki started to fit the JTR822 sprocket in 1978 to RM400 but i said that would have been on the 79 model RM400 that came out in late 78 and not actually fitted to the 78 model with the 180 PCD sprocket. They also mentioned the 1786 sprocket as the closest one thy do. Looks like i will be going to PBI, Sprocket Specialists or Talon maybe.
