anybody know where I can buy a clutch kit or just plates for my 84 yz250L.

have you tried Speed and Sport in the US?

Thanks Ross, all good, link trading has them as well as brake shoes, have them tomorrow. not bad work from my local bike shop and at same rate as US.

Try Yamaha I bought a set about 12mths ago also bought genuine springs.

I would guess those clutch plates are shared across multiple bikes and years are available from Yamaha .

168-16325-00-00 metal
Same as 490 until 92
Same as 250 until 88
If you can't find them on your eBay in AU the US Ebay has a bunch. As a last option ill ship them to you

Have you tried Barnett. Plates number 301-90-10019 and steels 401-90-063015. Think there is a complete kit as well. Try Serco in Brisbane.

I got a set for my 85 off ebay,come with slightly heavier springs. Very happy with them.
