Some help please....
Fully rebuilt 87 cr125. Started easily enough initially and ran well. Has gradually become harder to kickstart until virtually impossible. When bumpstarted it runs like a charm.
had the carb apart a couple of times, checked float levels, pilot not blocked etc. Spark seems to be ok, if not great. Checked all the terminals, new plug, killswitch connected and disconnected, all the same.
About to start checking/swapping coils etc, any suggestions on where to start?

Weak spark would be my guess. When it is push started the engine rotates fast enough to generate enough energy to fire the bike up but kick start is much slower.
Rewind or new stator.
