water cooler frames 84.5 - 85.5 are centre port, a/c 430 is side port otherwise its a bolt in

Husqvarna made a WR430 in '83 , so absolutely , an air cooled 430 motor will bolt straight into an '83 frame , or any of the '84 frames that were from the air cooled , two stroke , models .
