maybe 401-11611-11-00.

Check out the YZ250/360 FB page - lots of knowledge there.  Speed and Sport don't list parts for 125A but Partzilla do.

the reason I ask is there are rings on ebay but they all state they also suit mx125a and yz125b but they had cast bores and the yz125a had a chrome bore

I don't understand why they list the rings to suit those models ross ill search 240-11611-0 and see what happens the ones I keep finding start with 401

Beware  of partzilla They only go by the basic Code Number and Design code number and forget about the first 3 digits which is the model code number . Eg all these idiots trying to sell rings to fit 250 and 360 on evilbay .
 Yamaha parts number code system
first three digits is the bike code ( year model and size ) next five digits is the basic code ( eg piston ring ) last two digits is design code ( eg chrome ring "L")

ID have a standard ring for a 125.    So long as its not a chrome ring you can fit it in any bore, it will wear and not the liner
