Title: PE250B and PE250T, common engine parts?

I have the chance to grab a PE250T motor, how much of the T motor is common to the B?

Not much really. Some of the minor clutch parts, pressure plate, friction discs etc.

if it was a 78-79 PE250 i would of said yeah grab it. 80-82 250 is a totally new design with 6 speed gearbox, new top end that does not fit on earlier models, new cases, new larger diameter stator/flywheel.
