Title: SL/TL125 gear selection problems

Bro has gear selection problems on his little Honda engines (SL & TL125s) - changes up OK but difficulty shifting down, especially selecting 3rd gear.

 Any Honda officiandos know if this is a common problem on these engines and what the fix is?

those boxes are usually pretty bulletproof,if the 6mm bolt retaining the "star" quadrant thingy on the end of the shift drum is loose that will cause weird shifts & would do as you describe,it's a pretty common scenario??, :P
