Puss bucket racing .............. :P :P :P

What are they thinking ???

Worst idea since reverse grids for WSBK.
More riding, less watching racing. (That's me, and my new positive attitude.)

The Holdens and Falcons won't be made soon and I don't even know if you can still get a V8 now. Diesels have been used as race engines in World Touring Cars and World Sports Car championships and they were more than competitive.
The duel cab diesel utes are what the majority of tradies use. What they end up with may surprise you.
Either way they can't continue with obsolete cars.

Not deigning the Aussie real utes are dead. :-[ :'( Just maybe the support class for the (suppose not so V8 very soon) Supercars could have some racing entertainment value. Somehow 4 door Thai built cab chassis/pickups don't come to mind.
Still not a patch on the dinosaurs, but will they still be selling any "hot hatches" like Ford Fiestas or the various European brands here..... ::)

Motor Racing at all levels relies on sponsorship to survive. That is why this is happening.
They have support in some form from five manufacturers. Ford, Holden, Mitsubishi, Mazda and Toyota.
