Title: Ohlins internal bits.
Post by: hampster on January 23, 2017, 11:42:57 am
Hi All,

After pistons for remote reservoir Ohlins off a 1980 WR Husky, or a set of shocks that can be rebuilt.

Thanks Chris.

New parts readily available from local Aus supplier. You'll have to go through a bike shop though, doubt they'll sell to you direct.
Cheers,

Thanks K,

Tried Ohlins they do not have the pistons for the older shocks, still on the hunt.

Thanks Chris.

Why not make some yourself ? (if you have access to a lathe  )  Or even better , convert them to a bladder set up .

Sorry Hampster, you must mean the 30mm remote reservoir shocks then? Send them up to Rad Shock repairs in Qld.

I can loan you a 40mm remote res floating piston so you can get one made, if you are willing to pay for postage both ways.

Chris.  It is the not the gas reservoir piston you need.  It is the 36mm main shaft pistons. Ill give you a call.
