Title: Christmas present
Post by: FAT-TOY on December 18, 2016, 07:12:36 pm

This is my Christmas present to myself, with a little help from the family. No socks or hankies just a few dollars in a card makes for a happy me and something that I've been saving for is now in my workshop.
Merry Christmas and I hope you all have a happy and safe Christmas and new year.

I can see some more special tools coming up.
1 of the many things I miss from using my trade is the ability to make use of tools like this to make parts for my bikes

Well it's all wired in and running, looks like I have had a big win with this machine.  One of my first jobs will be making a set of gears for a Hercus lathe. This means I will need to get myself a cheap Dividing Head or maybe make one.  Anyone made one or know of any plans or drawings.    I picked up the mill complete with clamps, collets and a heap of cutters for only $800, great price.  Now just need to save for the extra's I need.
Anyway I hope you all get plenty of presents and enjoy a happy and safe Christmas break.
