I can't believe it has been 16 years since Joey passed.
This documentary shows in depth interviews with contemporary and current TT riders, friends, family and sponsors of the great man.
Joey was a very unique individual with a passion for road racing. Whether riding 125cc, 250cc or Superbikes he ruled the TT in the 80's and 90's.
He was also one of Honda's greatest ever factory riders!

Joey was a very down-to-earth chap. When I rode the TT in 1990, Joey was happy to give me tips over a cup of coffee in the riders tea-room.

He took a team of Irish roadracers on a tour of the NZ summer season once in the 1980s, think the best result he had was a 4th or 5th in a 125 race, the rest of the time he and his squad were on holidays and keeping their fluids up, they didn't trouble the prize donors much but had a hell of a holiday and made hundreds of lifelong fans. A bloke I know ell worked for Honda UK and looked after Roger Burnett's bike and for one TT Joey's bike, he asked him what was the key to sorting out the TT course and Joey said there's a line down the middle of the road, if you're stuck just follow that. When you've got it sorted, ride it like you're late for work. 8)
