What years were the centre port TS 400's produced?
I'm getting conflicting info from the web
-
76 and 77
-
nice looking old 400 on gt currently

Thanks LWC
So the 'all new 74 L model' that I read about on the net is still just a sideport motor!
I have also read the TS 400 went to 79 so would these be the same as the 77 and made for different world markets?
-
i always thought the TS400 finished in 77. LMA and B were twin down tube frames. The SP370 took over for big bores and suzuki were doing reed valves for the 2T market. It is entirely possible that minor markets like africa and brazil kept selling them but i dont think so.

correct this time Pokey..'75 and '76 were the centre ports.
-
yeah they also made the 77 Chris. but i dont think we got them here . think they were a shitty powder blue but i have seen black ones . US only from memory.
