so rare ive never seen one. :o we didn't get them here did we?? I thought therb single shocker was the first oz release...

Is it a survivor or a restored one ?
Is that a dent in the header pipe ?
-
Looks nice, painting the shock bodies would give it that newer look. And the tank decals put on straight.
-
This is the second one I've seen in Australia maybe they only sent a hand full here?
In NZ there were lots back in the day and still pop up here and there on trade me .

I had a nice 79 XR500. There are pics of it on here somewhere.
Apparently, there were 48 XR500RA,s sent to Australia. I don't know where they all went too......

I am fairly sure I took a photo of one at a vinduro in Victoria a few years ago. I'll have a look through my carefully maintained and meticulously indexed archive when I get a chance.

$8K reserve not met far out!!!!!
-
He's claiming it virtually hasn't been ridden.
Original tires etc.
I have no reason to doubt, just saying.
It's probably truly unique, but a bit obscure. (A narrow market)

he is banking that someone wants to concourse some of the most popular and prolific models Honda made..... :o
number plates... ::) when personalised plates first came out a bloke I know got a set for his jag. he thought they were cool til someone asked his wife what "they" were doing parked out front of a St Kilda house of ill repute. the plates soon went.

I bought one of these years ago. I'm not sure why.
-
I wonder if he sold it?
-
He knock back $11k and its relisted.
Anything north of $10k he should have had pulled the buyers arm out of his socket getting the money!
From my observation the seller never gets the same amount again as they scare off all the "potential" buyers with their unreasonable expectations. They missed their chance on this one!

These people drive me mental. :o
Why waste people's time starting below the reserve? (Even worse, miles below the reserve.)
It's deceitful "salesmanship" BS. >:(
-
small minded people like reassurances that their "toy" is worth what they think it is.
If he had shares he would be on the asx site every hour checking they hadn't gone down in value.....
-
Wants everyone to know he has somethung shinny. Look at me look at me.
He knocked back 11k for that ? Its no HL or CCM just a bloody Honda thats a hot up XL at best , a guy gave me this model XL for a case of beer last week.
