I have just bought a 1975 RM125M and would like to know what it would take to convert it to a “S” model?
Is the Hop-Up kit that was available back in the day pretty much the same as what a “S” would have been?
Does anyone have any Hop-Up Parts or “S” parts that they would be willing to sell?

I would have thought the m was a priceless rarity??

Probably find most M were already kitted and id be surprised if yours isnt. As above a real rarity and while not as competitive as others it will be collectable.

You'll be very lucky to get many S parts, they are very hard to come by unless you pick up a complete or part bike. Carby's (....-41700) and original exhausts are like hens teeth.
Main differences between the two are:
34mm carby compared to the 28mm on the M
Special aluminium manifold plate between carby and barrel
Different size airbox to accommodate the larger diameter carby boot.
Hand fabricated exhaust compared to the pressed pipe on the M
Modified porting
CDI mounted up on head stem

I live in Canada And I'm not sure the S Model ever made it here.
This is Definitely an M Model with the 28mm Carb.
It looks like a very low hour bike.
Would post a pic if I could figure out how.
