The 5th Conondale Vinduro Sprint has been set down for the 20-21st May. The premier competition Vinduro is on again. Changes for this year: Adding a class and NOT turning the irrigation back on Saturday night. Book it in!
Wish I had some photos of Saturday the track was perfect. Sunday was fun to.

Just keep it fresh, we are looking at giving the classes an overall.
We are looking at medals for 1,2,3, in each class but also 1st over 50Yrs & 60Yrs.
Pre76 Although this is not a big class, but I want to keep it. Would be great to see a bunch of mates racing each other on the older bikes. There were plenty of them out on the same track at CD.
Pre79 This class is getting more riders.
Evo U250 Sadly for my class there are never enough U200 Evos. Dunno where they all are. If there is enough interest would be great to have it back in.

Pre85 Air Cooled U200 ItPeXrKdxs This is your class. We have always had an Air Cooled class, but now it has a Pre85 cutoff. This moves later XRs Kdxs and TTs into Pre89.

Pre89LC Pre95AC U200
Pre89LC Pre 95 Air cooled U250 Last year we went to Pre95. We have now added a Pre89 LC Pre95 AC. 89 was when the real Pre95 bikes were released as in RMX and such. By having the Pre 89 class this now makes a proper Pre 95 class. We have put All Pre95 air cooled bikes in with the Pre89.

Pre95 U200 This would be a great race to ride a 125.

I want to put this upfront so there are no surprises and to help you make some choices, not get caught out & give you the best chance of riding these great events. Add to this we need riders to support these events or our clubs will start saying no.
Please be aware the MA one event licence for all club/interclub competition has increased 50% to $90. We have no control over this cost and it is something we are VERY mindful of, when we are trying to get a new series started.
As such the entry for the Conondale Vinduro Sprint is the same as last year $80. A $5 increase in 5 years.
The new MA fees are:
Senior National $320
One event Comp licence $90
One event Rec Licence $30
This year there will be 3 competition Vinduros in Qld, Classic Dirt, VMX club days and we are hoping to get some old or modern bikes to some trail rides. The Vinduros and Classic Dirt alone come to $270 in licence Fees. If you think you will do another competition this year you would be best to buy a year licence before the first event.
All your call. I have not posted this to be a Bag MA post just to let you know.

The ONE MEETING and Senior National One Meeting Licence are now both $90.00.

Is this a teams event? As per two riders per team? Is there racing both days?

Geez, you're right I better get into getting info out about this.
It's not a teams event. Just an add to this description on the flyer, each rider is reseeded with each heat. So you move up or down the list depending on your lap time. The track is similar to the CD enduro track which is even more fun to race on.
"The format: 1 heat will be each rider doing a timed lap of aprox 15min AORC type track. Depending on the number of entries you should expect 8 – 10 heats in the day. The rider with the lowest elapsed time in each class will be classed as the winner.

Saturday: the track will be open for practice from 12.00pm.
Sunday will be racing only."

I believe you can ride as many as you want to in Saturday practice, but only one on race day

The ONE MEETING and Senior National One Meeting Licence are now both $90.00.
These two licences have now been combined and extended to all Open (National) meetings and the cost has been reduced to $75.00 (from $90). They can also be issued on the day, but I'm sure the Race Secretary will want to know about who needs one well before the meeting.

Great weekend, great people , super event.
Be there for Classic Dirt and you can ride this course/loop.
You would be crazy to miss CD this year as the Green Park/Conondale complex is in premium condition.
